The all-new 2007 Jeep(R) Patriot proved its capability as an off-road vehicle in the compact of Sports-Utility (SUV) division. Setting a new standard for off-road vehicles and showing a remarkable performance as a 4×4 Jeep. Not only for easy driving, it gives much fun to the driver at the same time. It showcases its best-in-class 4×4 performance and class-leading fuel efficiency. Equipped with its standard 2.4 liter World Engine, the Jeep(R) Patriot achieves 30 miles per gallon when hitting the highway — an irony that SUVs are not fuel-economy vehicles.
Larry Lyons, Vice President- Front wheel-drive product Team said that “Jeep Patriot does for the compact SUV class what the brand icon Jeep Wrangler does for extreme off-road SUV class. Patriot gives first-time Jeep buyers a fuel-efficient, fun-to-drive SUV with true off-road capabilities.” The 2007 Jeep Patriot’s consistent power has proven its world-class performance, refinement and fuel-economy. It features its standard 2.4 liter World Engine that goes with a dual Variable Valve Timing or VVT, Jeep Cold Air Intake, Jeep Cold Air Intake Filter, 172 Horsepower (128kW) and 165 lb.-ft. (222 N*m) of torque and gives a class-leading fuel-economy of 26 mpg in the city and 30 on the highway.
Dual VVT is a technology which is not available on vehicles sold in the United States. Only the Jeep Patriot has this technology on its system. The World Engine produces much power, better fuel and fun-smooth-quieter riding than other Jeeps without the technology of VTT. The Jeep Patriot’s power is needless to say superb when it comes to all-terrain and off-road duties.
When it comes to style and design, from the exterior down to the interior aspects, we can say it’s a marvelous creation. All the comfort, style, power and speed we need, is right here in this vehicle. Jeep(R) Patriot never fails to give us surprises.
