Daily trips can be scheduled by boat or ferry to most of these islands. The naval Battle Area is in the south also near Salak Petch Bay. This is where the battle between Thai and French soldiers occurred in a conflict over the east border in 1941. There is also a Naval War Memorial on Laem Ngob Beach.
